GAME 20
Eastern Illinois reached the halfway point of the Ohio Valley Conference schedule with the Panthers improving to 10-0 in conference play following a 51-49 win over defending OVC champion Southern Indiana.  EIU remained unbeaten at home as they are now 13-6 overall this season.   The Panthers open the second half of the OVC season on Thursday at Western Illinois in the first of four straight road games.  WIU picked up a win on Saturday to move back above .500 for the season at 10-9 overall, 4-6 in the OVC.

ANOTHER OVC AWARD FOR MCGLONE
Macy McGlone helped carry Eastern Illinois to its win on Saturday with 22 points and 16 rebounds after scoring 20 points in Thursday's 100-point game against Morehead State.  This week McGlone was awarded her second straight Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Week award and fifth award this season.  She averaged 21 points, 11.5 rebounds and 3.0 blocks per game for the week while shooting 61 percent from the field.  McGlone continues her ascent up the EIU career charts in all three categories ranking 16th in scoring (1,301 pts), fourth in rebounding (813) and third in blocks (141).  She already owns EIU's single season (26) and career records for doubles-doubles (41) ranking eighth in the NCAA this season with 11 double-doubles.  McGlone's pair of 20-point games this past week gave her 26 for her EIU career.  Last season McGlone was named the OVC Player of the Week six times eventually ending the season as the OVC Player of the Year.

EIU CONTINUES TO PICK UP STEALS
Eastern Illinois finished with ten steals while forcing 22 Southern Indiana turnovers in Saturday's win as the Panthers had 18 points scored off of turnovers.  It marked the second straight game that EIU has had double figure steals in a game and the 11th time that has occurred this season.  EIU's season high for steals in a game is 19 against Indiana State.  For the year the Panthers are averaging 10.2 steals per game which ranks fourth in the OVC.  On Saturday the steal production came primarily from two players with guards Lalani Ellis and Kiyley Flowers.  Ellis finished with a season high five steals while Flowers had four steals.  The final EIU steal was by freshman guard Alanna Phillipo.
