The 2025 Ohio Valley Conference Cross Country Championship will be run on Friday on the campus of Eastern Illinois University. The men's 8K race will begin at 9 a.m. CT and will be followed by the women's 6K race at 10 a.m. CT.

It marks the first time that EIU has hosted the event since 2017. 

This will be the 65th OVC men's championship, as the first one was held in 1962; the women's championship will be determined for the 47th time this year.
 
The Eastern Illinois men's team has won 11 OVC cross country championships with the last coming 2023 when the Panthers had a run of four straight titles. 
 
The Eastern Illinois women's team has won four championships with the last coming in 2023 as part of back-to-back titles. 

The meet is free and open to the public.

The OVC Athletes and Freshmen of the Year, which are determined by coaches vote, will be announced on Thursday. The Coach of the Year, Athletes of the Championship and All-OVC honors will be presented following Friday's Championship.
