Eastern Illinois men's soccer opened its two-match Texas swing on Thursday night with a road loss at Houston Christian.

The Panthers dropped the Ohio Valley Conference contest 3-0 with the Huskies scoring two first half goals before a third goal on a penalty kick in the final ten minutes.

Ryan Okerayi scored the opener in the 19th minute with Joby Reid finding the back of the net ten minutes later. HCU's final goal came on a penalty kick by Okerayi.

Both teams finished the match with 13 total shots with the Panthers placing five shots on net.Â
