Indiana State held Eastern Illinois to 31 percent shooting on Tuesday night as the Sycamores beat the Panthers 90-69.
EIU had good production early on from
Ava Stoller and
Abbie Boutilier. Stoller finished with 13 points, her third straight double figure scoring game for the Panthers.
Boutilier finished with nine points and six rebounds.
Indiana State led by two at the end of the first quarter extending that lead to five points at the half.
Clara Glad was 3-of-4 from 3-point range scoring 12 points.Â
Sydney-James Desroches came off the bench to score 13 points.
Indiana State's offensive production came off the bench with three double figures scorers coming in as reserves. Tierney Kelsey scored 22 points with Jayci Allen adding 21.
EIU falls to 0-3. Indiana State improved to 1-1.
