2026 EIU Softball Schedule

Eastern Illinois softball has released its 2026 schedule as the defending Ohio Valley Conference champions and NCAA Tournament participant will open the season on the road.

The Panthers will begin the season in Statesboro, Ga., playing in the Georgia Southern Bash in the Boro on Feb. 6-8.   That will be followed by in-season tournaments at the Mardi Gras Mambo in Youngsville, La. (Feb. 13-15), FIU Classic in Miami, Fla. (Feb. 20-22) and the ASU Sun Devil Classic in Tempe, Ariz. (Feb. 27-March 1).
 
EIU begins defense of its OVC title on the road with the Panthers playing March 7-8 at Morehead State.  EIU won its second straight OVC regular season title last season and second OVC Tournament Championship in the last three years.

EIU's first appearance at home at Williams Field will be on March 14-15 hosting Lindenwood.  The Panthers will also welcome OVC opponents Western Illinois (March 28-29), UT Martin (April 3-4), Tennessee Tech (April 18-19) and Tennessee State (May 1-2) to Charleston.

In addition, EIU has several home and away midweek games scheduled for this season.  EIU will host Bradley, UIC and Evansville while making midweek trips to Murray State, Lipscomb, Indiana State and Saint Louis.

The OVC Tournament returns for its third year to Louisville Slugger Park in Peoria, Illinois from May 6-9.
