GAME 8
Eastern Illinois returns to action on Saturday evening hosting Lindenwood in the Ohio Valley Conference opener for both teams. The game was moved up from its originally scheduled date in late December due to a facility conflict with EIU's winter graduation and alternate dates for both teams around already scheduled non-conference opponents.   EIU last played on Friday, Nov. 28 at No. 1 ranked Purdue falling to the Boilermakers to stand at 2-5 on the season.  Monday's scheduled game with Blackburn College was postponed due to the winter weather with a reschedule date still being worked out.  Lindenwood enters at 4-4 following a midweek road win at Northern Illinois.  The Lions enter the weekend on a two-game win streak.

WHITE IN DOUBLE FIGURES AT PURDUE
Junior college guard Meechie White picked the biggest stage to have his biggest game of the season leading the Panthers in scoring at No. 1 Purdue.  White scored 23 points, going 8-of-10 from the floor which included 2-of-3 from 3-point range and 5-of-6 from the free throw line.  It was White's second double figure scoring game this season after 11 points in the home win over Tiffin.  White dished out three assists at Purdue for this fourth straight game with multiple assists.

McMORRIS CONTINUES TO GROW
Sophomore Terry McMorris continues to produce for the Panthers offense.  Last season he posted season highs of five points and five rebounds late in the year.  He broke out in the season opener at Valparaiso with a double-double and has continued to be steady through the opening seven games.  McMorris posted his fourth straight double figures game scoring 11 points at No. 1 Purdue.  The forward  is shooting 50.9 percent from the floor and 76.7 percent from the free throw line.

FISHER WORKING HIS WAY BACK
Nazareth Fisher averaged a double-double last season playing at NCAA Division II Point Park.  He was limited to just four minutes in each of the first two games of the season before missing the next four games due to injury.  Fisher worked his way back into the line-up with 15 minutes on Friday at No. 1 Purdue.  He scored four points and pulled down two rebounds in the game.
