Eastern Illinois men's tennis wrapped up its week of three matches on Sunday afternoon with a 7-0 loss to UIC in a match played in Bloomington, Illinois.
For the week EIU won a dramatic 4-3 match over Saint Louis on Wednesday before losses on Friday at Ball State and Sunday against the Flames.
UIC opened winning the doubles point with wins in all three doubles matches played to completion.Â
In singles competition UIC was able to win all six matches in two sets.  Two Panthers pushed sets in their matches to a tie-break before an eventual loss.
Ludolph Wiggett forced a tie-break in his opening set against Emil Dapcevic at No. 4 singles before losing 7-6 (7-3), 6-3.
Tyler Carlin had a tie-break in the second set of his No. 3 singles match against Mihalio Savic before the 6-1, 7-6 (7-2) setback.
EIU played with an adjusted singles order for the second straight road match. Next week EIU travels for a Sunday night match at Oregon.
