Eastern Illinois women's golf closed its third spring tournament on Tuesday with the Panthers finishing 12th at The Julie hosted by Northern Kentucky.
 
EIU stood in eighth place in the field after the opening day on Monday evening but fell to 12th in the overall standings following 36-holes at Elks Run Golf Course.
 
Mya Mirocha was the Panthers top finisher with a 36-hole total of 161 to tie for 24th.  She closed with a round of 80 on Tuesday.
 
Morgan Grant was tied for 44th with a 36-hole score of 166 and a top round of 82 on Tuesday.
 
Olivia Quigley was just one overall stroke behind Grant in a tie for 51st with a two-day score of 167.
 
Meera Upadhyay closed out EIU's four scored golfers in the event in a tie for 67th and a 36-hole score of 175.
 
Youngstown State won the team title with the Penguins Neeranuch Prajunpanich earning individual medalist honors.
 
EIU returns to action this Sunday and Monday at the Indiana State Spring Invite before playing at the OVC Championships on April 13.
