Eastern Illinois women's golf wrapped up the second day of competition at the Ohio Valley Conference Championships with the Panthers slipping back one spot in the team standings to sit in eighth place entering Tuesday's final round.

EIU is currently one stroke behind Southern Indiana and will play with both the Screaming Eagles and Tennessee State during their final round tomorrow. The championship is being held at the RTJ Golf Trail The Shoals – Fighting Joe Course in Muscle Shoals, Alabama.

Mya Mirocha continues to pace the Panthers at the event shooting her second consecutive round of 77 as she is tied for 11th at the Championship with a 36-hole total of 154.

Meera Upadhyay carded a second round total of 81 moving up to a tie for 28th with a 36-hole score of 166.

EIU fielded only four scored golfers in the championship event with
Olivia Quigley and
Morgan Grant the final two Panthers competitors.

Quigley is 35th after a Monday round of 91 giving her a 36-hole score of 172.

Grant is 37th with a 36-hole score of 175 after a round of 90 on Monday.

Morehead State continues to rank as the team leader with Eagles golfer Tuva Isabkke the individual leader after a second round score of three-under par 69 on Monday.
