Eastern Illinois women's tennis saw its 2025 season come to an end on Thursday evening as the Panthers lost 4-0 to No. 3 seed Bryant at the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament in St. Louis.

Bryant won the opening point taking the doubles with wins at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles. Â
Michelle Kostadinova and
Luisa Renovales Salazar were leading their match 5-2 and it was left unfinished when the Bulldogs won the overall point.

In singles play Bryant won the match with wins in three singles contests to clinch the overall win. Bryant won at No. 2, No. 5 and No. 6 singles.

Aleyla Wooten was leading 6-3, 5-3 over Natalia Vela at No. 1 singles with her match left unfinished.

Charleigh Fay won her opening set at No. 3 singles over Caitlyn Munson 7-6 (9-7) and was starting the second set when Bryant clinched the match

At No. 4 singles
Michelle Kostadinova had her match against Maria Jose Diaz left unfinished in the second set.  Diaz won the opening set 6-4 and the second set was knotted at 5-5.

EIU ends the season with a 6-17 record including a 3-3 record in OVC play.

Charleigh Fay was named a second team All-OVC performer while Fay and
Aleyla Wooten were named an All-OVC Doubles team.
