Kendall Grover was named the Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Week for the third different time this season as the junior led Eastern Illinois softball to a weekend sweep at Tennessee State.

Grover had hits in all three weekend games going 5-for-12 at the plate for a .417 average. She drove in runs in all three games finishing with eight RBI while posting power numbers at the plate all weekend long. Grover had two doubles, a triple and a home run for the weekend as she ranks among the OVC leaders in most offensive categories this year.

For the season Grover is currently hitting .412 with 12 doubles, ten home runs, 32 RBI and 40 runs scored.

EIU will host Indiana State for a non-conference game on Tuesday before a weekend home series with SIUE on Saturday and Sunday at Williams Field.
