Tournament Results

Eastern Illinois women's golf placed seventh at its final regular season tournament as the Panthers played Sunday and Monday at the 36-hole Indiana State Spring Invite.
 
Mya Mirocha was consistent under weather impacted conditions posting a Top Ten finish in a tie for ninth in the field with a 36-hole total of 152.  Mirocha posted back-to-back rounds of 76 on the Country Club of Terre Haute course.
 
Mirocha is the first EIU women's golfer to post a top ten in a tournament since the fall of 2022 when Ashley Chen and Katelind Winterland both tied for 8th at the 36-hole Zaxby's Intercollegiate. 
 
Meera Upadhyay closed with a round of 77 on Monday as she moved up to finish in a tie for 20th with a 36-hole score of 157.
 
Morgan Grant had the best round of the tournament for the Panthers with a round of 75 on Monday.  She posted a total of 160 to tie for 30th.
 
Olivia Quigley was EIU's final scored golfer in the tournament tied for 51st with the total of 181.
 
Purdue Fort Wayne won the team title with Louise Standtke of Evansville the individual medalist.
 
EIU returns to action next weekend as they play in the 2025 OVC Championships in Muscle Shoals, Ala.  The event takes place April 13-15 at the RTJ Golf Trail Shoals on the Fighting Joe Course.
