2025 EIU Football Schedule

Game times have been set for 11 of Eastern Illinois 12 games this season as the Panthers football team will host six games at O'Brien Field for the first time since the 2003 season.
 
EIU opens the season at home on Thursday, August 28 hosting Dayton at 6 pm.   The Panthers will also welcome Illinois State to EIU for the annual Mid-America Classic on Sept. 13 with a 2 pm. start.
 
The remaining four home games on the schedule are all OVC-Big South contests with two in October and two in November.  EIU hosts Tennessee State at 2 pm on Oct. 4 and Gardner-Webb on Oct. 11 at 2 pm for this year's homecoming game.  The two home November contests are on Nov. 1 against UT Martin at 2 pm and Nov. 8 against Tennessee Tech at 12 pm.
 
The Panthers first road non-conference game will be an afternoon contest with a 12 pm (Central) kick at Indiana State on Sept. 6.
 
EIU opens OVC-Big South conference play on Sept. 27 at Western Illinois with a 3 pm kick in Macomb.  The Panthers visit Southeast Missouri on Oct. 18 at 2 pm and make their first trip to Charleston Southern on Oct. 25 for a 1 pm (Central) kick.
 
The final two games of the regular season are both on the road with EIU wrapping up conference play on Nov. 15 at Lindenwood with a 2 pm kickoff.  The season ends on Nov. 22 at Alabama with that game time still to be determined by TV at a later date.
 
All EIU home games and OVC-Big South games will once again be on ESPN+.
 
Season ticket renewals are currently underway with new season ticket sales beginning in the coming weeks and single game tickets on sale on August 1.
