Eastern Illinois women's golf will compete in five meets this fall as the Panthers return all five golfers from last season's squad.
 
EIU opens the year at the Kansas Intercollegiate on August 24-25 with the tournament played at The Jayhawk Club in Lawrence.
 
The Panthers will then be in action in back-to-back weeks on Sept. 8-9 and Sept. 15-16.  The first of the two weeks EIU competes at the Total Athlete Collegiate contested at the Country Club of the North in Beavercreek, Ohio.   The second week will be at The Velvet hosted by Murray State in Paducah, Ky.
 
EIU has two tournaments on the schedule in October opening the month at the Chicago State Fall Classic at Harborside International Golf Center on Oct. 6-7.  EIU wraps up the fall on Oct. 20-21 at the Evansville Braun Intercollegiate.
 
Meera Upadhyay and Mya Mirocha ranked as the Panthers top two golfers last season with Upadhyay holding a season stroke average of 80.6.  Mirocha was the Panthers top golfer in the final four tournaments of the season including two Top Ten finishes and a tie for seventh at the OVC Championship.
