Eastern Illinois junior Abby Reinl found the net three times last week for the Panthers as the midfielder earned Ohio Valley Conference Offensive Player of the Week honors on Tuesday (Sept. 2).
 
Reinl, EIU's leading goal scorer last season, found the net for the first time this season in the second half against Valparaiso.   She would finish off the match with the match winner with 12 minutes remaining for her second goal of the week.
 
She came back with a first half tally at Northern Illinois before the Panthers eventually suffered a late 2-1 loss to the Huskies.
 
Reinl now has three goals this season and 14 for her career.  She needs two more goals to break into the EIU career top ten for goals.
 
EIU hosts Indiana State on Thursday before playing Sunday at Purdue Fort Wayne.
