Eastern Illinois volleyball will open play in its new home this weekend when the Panthers host Lindenwood on Friday and Saturday to open Ohio Valley Conference play.
 
EIU will officially dedicate Gardella Family Court at McAfee Gym prior to Saturday's match.
 
Parking
Gardella Family Court at McAfee Gym is located at 1611 4th Street in Charleston (at the corner of Grant and 4th Street).  Accessible close parking for the venue is available to fans in several different locations near the venue. (see map)
Marty's Gravel Lot (located off 3rd Street behind Marty's Bar & Grill… do not park in paved spots for establishment)
Former Jerry's Pizza Lot (located at corner of Lincoln Avenue and 4th Street)
Stevenson / Softball Lot (located across 4th street next to Groniger Arena and Williams Softball Field)
Coleman Hall / Library Lot (located on 4th street across from Lakeside Soccer Field)
 
Seating
Seating is available on both sides of the court after entering the building at any of the four corner entrances.   EIU fan seating is on the East Side of Gardella Family Court with reserved chairback seating available at center court.  Those seats can be purchased for the season by clicking here – EIU Volleyball Chairback.   EIU student seating is on the West side of the venue on the southwest side of the building.  Visiting fan seating is on the West side on the northwest side of the building.
 
Admission
Admission to EIU volleyball matches at Gardella Family Court at is free.  EIU does offer reserved chairback seating in the middle section of the East Section which can be purchased as a ticketed seat.  (You must have a ticket to sit in the reserved chairback seats).
 
Concessions
Concessions and beverage service is available on the stage at Gardella Family Court behind the curtain.   Fans can enter by either stage entrance at the south end of the east and west hallways.
 
Restrooms
Restrooms are located on the North end of each hallway with the women's restroom in the Northeast corner and men's restroom in the Northwest corner.   Additional restrooms are located on the lower level of McAfee Gym taking the stairway down to the lower level at any of the four corners of the building.  Signage will be available to help direct you to those areas.
 
Handicap Accessibility
EIU does have limited handicap accessibility seating which is located on the playing floor.  Please reach out to the EIU Athletic Department if you need this provision made for you at 217-581-6014 (please try to make us aware prior to the match so we can adequately accommodate those needs).  There is a handicap accessible entrance with elevator at the Southeast corner of McAfee Gym (located near EIU MLK Jr Student Union)
