Head Coach Jason Anderson announced today the addition of two fall baseball games. The defending OVC regular season champions will be on the road for two fall contests to gear up for their 2026 spring season. 

 

EIU will travel to Champaign-Urbana, Illinois, on October 2nd to kick off their fall with a single game against the University of Illinois at 5:30 p.m. 

A few weeks later, Eastern Illinois will cap off their fall ball with a match at Carbondale, Illinois, on October 17th for a single game against Southern Illinois at 2:00 p.m. 

 

Eastern Illinois baseball is coming off a 2025 OVC regular season championship. Head coach Jason Anderson is entering his 11th season at the helm and 13th season as a coach for the Panthers. Coach Anderson has reloaded his 2026 roster with 19 new commits from the high school, JUCO, and four-year transfer rankings.
