Adam Boykin scored the first goal of the season for Eastern Illinois as the Panthers played to a 1-1 draw at Milwaukee on Friday evening.
 
Boykin scored on a penalty kick for the Panthers in the 26th minute as EIU took its first lead of the 2025 campaign.
 
The lead would stand up until the final ten minutes of action when Milwaukee finally broke through the EIU defense to score in the 82nd minute.  Dominic Zuniga scored on header to beat EIU keeper Franco Barba.
 
Barba finished with seven saves in the contest for EIU as they are now 0-3-1 on the year.
 
Casey Welage and Fabricio Roberti each had three shots to lead EIU's offensive attack.  Boykin had two total shots with both on goal.
 
Milwaukee 0-2-2 on the year.
