The Eastern Illinois men's and women's track and field schedule is set for the 2026-27 indoor season, and the team is looking to build off their successful 2025-26 campaign. EIU men are coming off a 3rd place finish in the OVC indoor championships in 2025, and the women are coming off a 2nd place finish. For outdoor, both teams had a great finish with men placing first in the OVC outdoor championships and the women placing 2nd. EIU is highlighted by the continuation of the EIU John Craft Invited held at the Lantz Fieldhouse on January 16.
