Eastern Illinois heads into its Senior Day game on Saturday with a third straight big game on a Saturday afternoon.Ā The last two Saturday's Eastern Illinois has been up to the task picking up a road win at Tennessee Tech two weeks ago and a home win over Little Rock last Saturday.Ā Following Thursday night's results, EIU is now tied for eighth in the OVC standings at 11-17 overall, 7-10 in the OVC.Ā The Panthers welcome a Southern Indiana team that has been eliminated from the OVC Tournament picture but is coming off a Thursday win at Western Illinois to stand at 6-21 overall, 3-14 in the OVC.Ā Ā
FRUSTER PLAY LAST TWO GAMESĀ

Zion Fruster did a little bit of everything on Thursday night as he scored 18 points for his fourth straight double figure scoring game.Ā In addition Fruster passed out five assists and collected six steals.Ā Over the last two games Fruster has 11 assists and ten steals to go with his scoring.Ā He went over the 1,000 point mark for his collegiate career on January 1 and needs eight points to reach the 700 plateau at EIU.Ā Fruster was 3-of-3 at the free throw line on Thursday moving back into first in the OVC in free throw percentage at 85.1 percent.
WHITEĀ JOINS THE EIU TOP TENĀ

Meechie White collected a steal for the ninth straight game as the junior slipped into the EIU single season top ten for steals with two on Thursday night.Ā White is now tied for ninth on the career list with 58 with Gerald Jones (1989).Ā The school record is 80 by Troy Richardson (1985) but the No. 2 spot of 65 steals is very much within reach this season.Ā To go along with his scoring and defense White also passed out six assists against Morehead State with just one turnover moving into 8th on the OVC assist-to-turnover ranking.
JACOBI CLOSING HOME CAREERĀ
Kooper Jacobi is set to play for the final time at Groniger Arena ending a three-year run as a Panther, the longest tenured player on the current roster.Ā Jacobi scored his 800th Eastern Illinois point last week at Western Illinois and is trying to become just the 13th player in school history with 600 career rebounds.Ā Jacobi enters the senior day with 576 career rebounds with three regular season games remaining.Ā Jacobi scored 12 points on Thursday night as has scored in double figure in five straight games.Ā Ā
