Eastern Illinois concluded the OVC Indoor Championship in Louisville, Kentucky. EIU brought home three gold medals and 14 top-three finishes in the two-day meet.
Men's Track
In the high jump finals, Machi Nelson placed 5th with a score of 2.00m (6-6.75).
Sam Bradbury recorded a top five finish in the shot put with a score of 15.46m (50-8.75).
Nathan Kirby earned a bronze medal in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.02.
Ayden Cothern earned a bronze medal in the 60m dash, running the event in 6.80. Right behind him was Daniel Lacy, finishing in 6.81 seconds.
Daniel and Cothern went two and three, each earning a podium finish in the 200m. Lacy finished with a time of 21.20, while Cothern finished in 21.22 seconds.
Zac Stout earned a 3rd place finish in the heptathlon with 4,863 points.
The 4x400m relay squad consisting of Weston Averkamp, Spencer Wilson, Tyler Miller, and Daniel Lacy placed 2nd with a time of 3:15.05.
Women's Track
In the triple jump finals, Abby Venhaus and Layla Bonilla placed 3rd and 4th. Venhaus scored an 11.89m (39-0.00) mark, while Bonilla scored an 11.81 (38-9.00) mark.
Brenda Torres and Rylea Borgic placed 6th and 7th in the mile run. Torres finished with a time of 5:05.14, while Borgic trailed right behind Torres with a time of 5:05.54.
Angela Dobbins finished 5th in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.87. Dobbins also placed 2nd in the pentathlon with 3,513 points.
Ashlyn Denney won gold in the 800m dash with a winning time of 2:09.74. Aly Douglass earned a 4th place finish with a time of 2:16.13.
Analena Peterson collected a silver medal in the 200m with a time of 24.14.
Marco Reynolds placed 2nd in the shot put finals with a time of 14.05m (46-1.25).

OVC Individual Awards
Abby Venhaus earned the OVC Female Athlete of the Championship. Venhaus won gold in the long jump with a 5.78m mark. Venhaus also placed 4th in the 60m finals, 5th in the 200m, and 3rd in the triple jump.
Daniel Lacy earned the OVC Male Track Athlete of the Year. Lacy won silver in the 200m finals with a time of 21.20. He also placed 4th in the 60m and ran the fourth leg in the 4x400m relay, which earned a silver medal.
