The Panthers earned their first win of the weekend, surpassing their win total from a year ago. EIU split their final two matches of the OVC weekend, losing to Chattanooga 5-0 but rebounding with a match sweep over Tennessee Tech.
Match 1: EIU 0, Chattanooga 5
The Panthers' first pair of the morning, Laura Paniagua and Giorgia Cappelletti, fell to the Mocs in two sets. The final scores were 21-13 and 21-12.
EIU was unable to secure a set win, with the last four remaining pairs falling in two sets.

Match 2: EIU 5, Tennessee Tech 0
After struggling in the first match of the day, the Panthers turn the momentum around quickly by sweeping the Golden Eagles 5-0.
Paniagua and Cappelletti faced no trouble winning in two sets: 21-16 and 21-15.
Amettis and Hasz were pushed to the edge but held on to win their pair in three sets. The final scores were 21-15, 16-21, and 15-11.
Mohesky and Schroeder kept the winning parade rolling by easily defeating the third pair in two sets. The results were 24-22 and 21-14.
Kopshever and Rawlinson were tested early but overcame a set one loss but earned the Panthers their fourth pair victory. The final scores were 14-21, 21-19, and 16-14.
Ariadna Pereles and Alanys Nieves completed the 5-0 sweep for EIU in two sets. The results were 21-18 and 21-14.
