EIU Beach Volleyball suffers a tough loss at Lindenwood University to open conference play. The Panthers were swept by the Lions 5-0.  

In flight one, Laura Paniagua and Giorgia Cappelletti dropped their match pair 2-0.  

In the second matchup, Lilli Amettis and Sylvia Hasz went 0-2. The pair lost 21-8 and 21-11.  

Round three went to the Lions 2-0. Tori Mohesky and Emma Schroeder dropped both sets. 

Panthers fourth pair, Katie Kopshever and Jorah Rutter, quickly lost their match, 21-9 and 21-12.  

Lastly, Alanys Nieves and Anaya Rawlinson were defeated 2-0. Nieves and Rawlinson lost 21-13 and 21-9. 

Up Next: The Panthers travel to their first OVC weekend of the season. EIU will face Morehead State, UT Martin, Chattanooga, and Tennessee Tech.
