Eastern Illinois women's basketball head coach
Marqus McGlothan added his second player of the spring signing period with the addition of transfer forward Nevaeh Dickman.
Â
Dickman (6'0") comes to EIU after playing her freshman season at Loyola Chicago.  Dickman appeared in 28 games for a Ramblers team that advanced to the third round of the WNIT.  She scored in the final two games of the WNIT with four points and three rebounds in a win over Florida Gulf Coast.  For the season Dickman averaged 1.1 points and 0.5 rebounds per game.
Â
"Nevaeh brings size and strength to our wing/forward position. She has the ability to guard multiple positions in our conference. She brings valuable post season experience to our roster and should continue to develop her offensive game in our system," said McGlothan. Â "Her skill set will allow her to be versatile on the offensive end with her ability to post and play on the perimeter."
Â
Dickman is from Fishers, Ind., where she was a three-star prospect playing at Fishers High School. She was rated the No. 6 recruit in the state of Indiana by 247Sports while listed as the No. 23 ranked power forward in the nation as a senior recruit. She was a first team All-State selection as a senior and selected to the Hoosier Basketball Magazine Class of 2025 Top 60 Senior Girls averaging 15.5 points and 6.4 rebounds per game. As a junior she earned honorable mention All-State honors averaging 10 points and 6 rebounds per game.
Â
She becomes the fourth player set to join the Panthers roster for next season. Itxasne Fernandez Arguello (Otero JC), a junior college forward from Spain was announced last week during the spring signing period joining high school products Alahnna Simpson (La Crosse, Wis. / La Crosse Central HS) and Dalia Grandberry (Arlington Heights, Ill. / Rolling Meadows HS), who both signed with the Panthers in November.
