After a dominate weekend performance against Tennessee Tech, Mike O'Conor was named the OVC Player of the Week. This is O'Conor's second time in his career earning the OVC weekly recognition.  

In the three-game series, O'Conor hit .667 with 11 RBIs, eight hits, and four home runs. He also had a .615 on-base percentage and a 1.667 slugging percentage. O'Conor secured the award with a three-home run and 7-RBI performance in the Saturday victory over the Golden Eagles. Two of the long balls were three-run home runs.  

For the season, he is hitting .328 with 22 hits, 22 RBIs, seven home runs, four doubles, and a triple. He holds a .731 slugging percentage and a .390 on-base percentage.
