Eastern Illinois women's swimming had four student-athleteĀ earn Academic All-District honors as released by College Sports Communicators this week.Ā

Genevieve Biberdorf and
Bella Earll along with juniors
Sara Boric and
Kaitlyn Evans earned the Academic honor as Panther student-athletes.Ā
Student-athletes must meet the following criteria to be considered for Academic All-District.Ā From an academic standpoint they must hold a cumulative 3.5 or higher grade point average, if they are a graduate student, a 3.5 or higher must have been maintained for both undergraduate and graduate work.Ā Ā In their sport of competition, they must be a starter or key reserve having appeared in 90 percent of an institution's games/contests/sets or started in at least 66 percent of the games/contests/sets.Ā A maximum of fourĀ student-athletes per school that meet these criteria may beĀ selected.
Biberdorf holds a 4.0 GPA in Biochemistry.Ā Earll has a 3.79 GPA in Environmental Biology.Ā Boric holds a 3.52 GPA in Nutrition and Dietetics.Ā Evans has a 3.84 in World Languages and Cultures ā Spanish Teacher Licensure.
The 2025-26 Academic All-DistrictĀ® Swimming & Diving Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-AmericaĀ® program separately recognizes at-largeĀ honorees in four divisions ā NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Academic All-DistrictĀ® honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-AmericaĀ® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-AmericaĀ® honorees will be announced in the coming weeks.Ā
