Men's West Regional Results

Eastern Illinois men's outdoor track and field wrapped up its 2026 season on Wednesday with two athletes competing at the NCAA West Regional in Fayetteville, Ark.

Shawn Lacy and Maliek Bush both competed for the Panthers.

Lacy competed in the second flight of the javelin which was moved back to Wednesday evening due to weather conditions in the area.  Lacy was ranked 17th following his flight with a throw of 190'4" coming on his first of three throws.  He finished 41st overall in the region.

Bush competed in the men's long jump but did not record a mark in the event finishing his season.  He won the long jump at the OVC Outdoor Championships.

Abby Venhaus will compete in the women's long jump on Thursday evening.
