The Eastern Illinois men's and women's swimming teams have been named College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America Scholar All-America Teams as announced by the CSCAA.

It is the fourth consecutive season that both EIU teams have earned the prestigious recognition, and the fifth consecutive season for the men's team.

714 teams from 418 institutions were selected for the Spring semester. These teams, representing 16,680 student-athletes, were recognized for their outstanding academic achievements, as they were required to achieve a grade point average (GPA) above 3.0.  

The EIU women finished the fall semester with an overall GPA of 3.59, while the men recorded a GPA of 3.30.

The Panthers return to campus in late August and will open the 2026-27 season on Oct. 3 at the Butler Invitational.  The first home meet at Padovan Pool will be on Oct. 9 hosting Olivet Nazarene.
