The Ohio Valley Conference has released the conference portion of its men's and women's basketball schedule for the 2026-27 season which will feature home-and-home games for all nine members of the league.
 
The OVC Tournament will take place once again this year at the Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana from March 3-6.
 
Each OVC team will play 16 conference games with Eastern Illinois conference slate beginning at home to ring in the New Year with the Panthers hosting Southeast Missouri on December 31 at Groniger Arena.
 
The first conference homestand of the year wraps up on January 2 with the Panthers hosting Tennessee State.
 
Additional home dates at Groniger Arena for EIU are with Lindenwood (Jan. 16), UT Martin (Jan. 23), Southern Indiana (Feb. 4), SIUE (Feb. 6), Western Illinois (Feb. 18) and Morehead State (Feb. 27).
 
The dates of EIU's road schedule begin on Jan. 7 at Morehead State.  The remaining road games are at Western Illinois (Jan. 14), Southeast Missouri (Jan. 21), Lindenwood (Jan. 30), Tennessee State (Feb. 11), UT Martin (Feb. 13), Southern Indiana (Feb. 20) and SIUE (Feb. 25).
 
EIU's women's non-conference schedule was previously released with the men's schedule being finalized in the coming weeks.
 
Start times for all games will be released when available.   Season ticket renewals for EIU basketball games at Groniger Arena are now available online at www.eiupanthers.com   Tickets will be printed or delivered digitally once schedules are finalized and game times set.
