Tournament Results

Eastern Illinois women's golf landed both individual and team records this week as the Panthers competed at the Omaha Fall Stampede at the Creek in Elkhorn, Neb.
 
Meera Upadhyay placed fourth as an individual setting the school 54-hole scoring record with a total of 223.
 
As a team EIU placed third while setting the school 54-hole scoring record with a team total of 934.  The Panthers had set the school mark last week with a 54-hole score of 940 at the Ball State Brttany Kelly Classic but shaved another six strokes off that total this week.  The event was played Monday and Tuesday at the Par 72 Indian Creek Golf Course.
 
Host Omaha won the team title with the Mavericks Eden Larson the individual medalist.
 
Upadhyay opened with a round of one-under 71 which tied for the second best individual round in program history.  She followed with rounds of 78 and 74 to shoot the 223 and placed fourth in the field.  The individual round of 71 matched her career best set last year at the Total Athlete Collegiate where she had also set the school 54-hole scoring record of 227.
 
As a team EIU opened with rounds of 309 and 308 on Monday to sit in second place in the field before a closing round of 317 to post the team score of 934. 
 
Morgan Grant tied for 11th as the Panthers second finisher in the field.  Grant shot a score of 233 with an opening round of 74.
 
Sophia Miller carded a Monday afternoon round of 74 as she shot a 54-hole total 240 to place 20th in the field.
 
Isabelle Boudreau had her best round of 76 on Monday afternoon as well as the freshman shot a 246 to finish 25th.
 
Mya Mirocha and Addison Kenney closed out the EIU golfers in the field.  Mirocha was tied for 26th with a score of 247 and a low round of 80 on Monday morning.   Kenney was 30th with a score of 249 and low round of 82.
