Biography

2010: As a true freshman, Natalie saw action in 23 games... was the starting pitcher in 15 contests... would complete the season with a 5-8 mark in the circle... had four complete games... recorded 25 strikeouts and 24 walks off 85.0 innings of work... recorded just one wild pitch all season while finishing with a 4.12 ERA.

HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year letterwinner for coaches Andy Nussbaum & Len Hopkins... had a steller high school career at Naperville Central HS, being named conference ‘Player of the Year’ and earning All-State recognition not just once, but twice... first as a junior and again her senior season... bagged three all-conference kudos and was voted team captain as well... finished with a remarkable 0.39 ERA her senior season in the circle... Naperville Central placed fourth at the 2009 IHSA state tournament... earned four consecutive conference academic honors, while also a member of her high school’s National Honor Society... played club ball for the Orland Park Sparks.

PERSONAL: ‘Wunderu’ or ‘Nat’, says her No. 1 sports highlight was “pitching 40 consecutive scoreless innings in the 2009 playoffs... the Chicago Fox News channel named me ‘Athlete of the Week’ as I was featured on a major news station”... credits her parents for having the biggest impact on her sports career, “because they traveled with me everywhere and went to practice with me everyday.”
