EIU (2006-07): Posted best record on EIU team in first full season of singles and doubles competition... went 20-2 playing at No. 2 singles with a 9-1 record in Ohio Valley Conference play... First-Team All-OVC... won first 12 matches of the season... posted lone point win for EIU in OVC Tournament semifinal loss to Murray State... psoted a 17-4 record in doubles action teaming wtih Hayley Homburg... team went 13-4 at No. 1 doubles and 4-0 at No. 2 doubles... doubles team also reached No. 56 in Fila Collegiate Tennis rankings for doubles, first-ever ranking for EIU...
EIU (2005-06): Did not compete in dual matches during school year....
HIGH SCHOOL: She prepped for coaches Robby Menard and Martin Simon at Ecole Secondaire Cavelier-de-LaSalle HS in Quebec... also played soccer… member of Team Canada (1997-98) and member of Team Quebec (1996-2000)....
PERSONAL: Majoring in psychology… No. 1 sports highlight was "going to France and winning the consolation round of the Open Benjamin tournament"... daughter of Marc Martin and Maria Teresita Borjal... credits her mother with "pushing her every step of the way"... most admires prep coach Robby Menard and her aunt/coach Andree Martin, a former tennis professional.
