PREP: Member of the swimming squad at Sandburg HS for coach Jim Caliendo... over the course of his swimming career he earned nine All-American and ten All-State honors... number one sports moment was “coming back from my shoulder surgery my junior year where I went on to make it to state in three events”... credits his parents for having the biggest influence on his swimming career “because they help keep my motivated”... admires his coach, Jim Caliendo, “because he kept me going in the water and helped me grow as an individual both physically and emotionally”....
