2010: OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll... Martin pitched in 19 games, starting the Army and Missouri contests… limited opposing hitters to a .216 batting average against in midweek action… pitched a career-high six innings in his start against Army… did not give up a hit in 5 2/3 innings of relief against Illinois over two appearances… struck out four over three innings in the Illinois game in Mattoon… worked 2 1/3 innings of scoreless relief in the opener of the Belmont series… his best outing in OVC play was an inning and two-third of one-hit relief in the series finale at Eastern Kentucky… also worked a scoreless inning of relief against Saint Louis and Morehead State.

2009: OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll... Martin pitched in 18 games, starting five contests… was the winning pitcher in each of his final three midweek starts… earned victories against Southern Illinois, Illinois State, Chicago State and Blackburn College… limited batters to a .238 average against in his 12 1/3 innings pitched in road games… worked 18 of his 39 innings in March, making three starts… kept EIU in the game in the loss to Missouri, giving up only one run and issuing no walks in the three innings of relief… pitched a season-high 4 1/3 innings at Indiana State in his first EIU start… pitched well in the two games against Bradley, giving up only two runs on two hits in 5 2/3 innings… surrendered only one hit in his four-inning start against the Braves in Florida… pitched an inning a third of scoreless relief in relief appearances at Southeastern Louisiana and Butler… worked an inning of relief in the OVC Tournament loss to Jacksonville State… singled in his lone at-bat of the season in the midweek home game against Bradley.

Martin redshirted during his first season with the program.

HIGH SCHOOL: He was a two-year letter-winner for coach Nick Scippionie… also lettered once in basketball and golf... Prep Baseball Report Top 100 prospect… senior year team captain... Academic All-DuPage Valley Conference… four-year honor roll student… played for the Lombard Lightning summer team and the Melrose Indians of the Chicago Suburban Baseball League in 2008.
