2010: Hannig pitched in 11 games, all in relief… worked 3 1/3 innings of one-hit relief in his finest outing of the season in the finale of the South Florida series… pitched an inning and two-thirds of scoreless relief over two appearances in the season-opening series at Southeastern Louisiana… retired the only batter he faced in appearances against Southern Illinois and Eastern Kentucky.

HIGH SCHOOL: Hannig was a two-year letter-winner coach Phil Hudson… also lettered three times in football… four-time Gold Glove winner… team captain as a senior… helped Peotone win the 2007 Interstate Eight Conference title in football… four-year honor roll student… also played for the Peotone Rebels summer team.

PERSONAL: No. 1 sports highlight was a throwing a game-winning touchdown pass with three seconds left in a 6-3 win… his parents have been a major influence on his sports career because “they always support and encourage me”… most admires basketball Hall of Famer Michael Jordan because “he couldn’t be stopped”… son of Tim and Mary Hannig… MAJOR: Accounting.
