Biography
2007: Faller played in eight games, five of which were OVC contests… logged a season-high 25 minutes in the win against Tennessee Tech… also logged double-figure minutes (12) in the regular-season finale versus Illinois State… challenged the opposing goalkeeper with both of the shots she registered.
2006: Faller joined the team during spring practice… in spring action she scored two goals, including the game-tying score in a draw against Western Illinois and a tally in a victory over Butler.
HIGH SCHOOL: She was a four-year varsity letter-winner for coach Bob Wharton… also lettered three times in volleyball… as a two-time team captain, she earned All-Central State Eight Conference honors and ISHA All-Sectional honorable mention recognition in 2004… was also a two-time all-conference performer and team captain in volleyball… National Honor Society and four-year honor roll student… also played for the SASA Prairie Strikers (’88) club team.
PERSONAL: No. 1 sports highlight was advancing to the super-sectionals of the IHSA state playoffs in 2004… her parents have been a major influence on her sports career because "they are always encouraging and supportive"… most admires her high school volleyball coach Meghan Withers because "she inspired my team to be really close and made us determined to win"… daughter of Mark and Kim Faller… MAJOR: Management.
