Biography

2007: Maubach played in 18 games and started 17 times, including the final eight matches of the season… also started the first nine contests of the year before an injury sidelined him for two games… scored his first career goal in the win at Western Kentucky… went the distance in the first nine games of the season, a streak of 871 consecutive minutes and 1,811 dating back to the 2006 season… played the entire game 15 times total, including four of the six MVC contests and the tourney semifinal game against Bradley… registered a shot in five of the last six games… helped EIU post a shutout streak of 436 minutes early in the season and eight shutouts total, a new program record in the Valley era… started 61 of the 66 games he played in during his four-year career.

2006: Maubach played in 18 games and started the final 17 of the season… has started 44 of the 48 games in which he has played during his career… key component of an EIU defense that shutout seven opponents and surrendered just six goals in Valley play… multiple-time MVC Defensive Player of the Week nominee… attempted a season-high three shots against Loyola, putting two on goal… put both of his shots on goal versus Western Kentucky.

2005: Maubach was the only Panther to start all 17 games… tallied an assist on Jimmy Klatter’s third goal in the Longwood match… key member of the EIU back row that did not allow more than one goal in any of the last seven games… tallied four shots, one of which was on goal.

2004: Played in 13 matches and started 10… recorded his first collegiate point and assist with a helper on Jimmy Klatter’s first goal at Evansville… 10 shots and three shots on goal...

HIGH SCHOOL: All-sectional and all-area… Mid State Elite 8 All-Tournament Team… Honorable Mention all-area as a junior… senior year led team in assists and voted MVP… lettered four years in soccer…
