2006: First Team All-MVC… NSCAA Second Team All-Midwest Region… MVC All-Tournament Team… Bowling Green Invitational All-Tournament Team… He started all 19 games in which he played… led the Valley with 11 goals, the most by an EIU player since Jason Thompson netted 14 in 2002… only the second underclassman in EIU’s MVC era (1996-present) to post a double-figure goal total… registered his first career hat trick (all three goals coming in the second half) in the win at IPFW… scored twice in the MVC Tournament win over Missouri State… his first career Valley goal was the game-winner against Evansville… scored in four consecutive games early in the season… scored a goal and tallied an assist in the same game on three occasions… led the team with four game-winners… also tops on the squad in shots and shots on goal, challenging the opposing goalkeeper with 53 percent of his attacks… MVC Rankings: First in goals and points, second in game-winning goals and shots… National Rankings: 28th in goals and 38th in points.
2005: MVC All-Freshman Team… He played in 14 games and started 11, including the first eight matches of the season… saw action off the bench in the MVC Tournament contest against Vanderbilt… scored his first career goal in the win over Olivet Nazarene… assisted on Brad Earl’s goal against Cal Poly for his first collegiate point… finished second on the team with 32 shots, 14 of which were on goal… tallied four shots in a game on four occasions.
HIGH SCHOOL: He played for coach Greg Koellor... named the‘04 Missouri Player of the Year after scoring a state-best and school-record 51 goals while leading St. Dominic to the Class 2A state championship… St. Louis Post-Dispatch First Team All-Metro honors as a senior, Honorable Mention All-Metro as a junior… two-time all-state and all-district selection… set a school record with 117 points… St. Louis Post-DispatchPlayer of the Week... PERSONAL: No. 1 sports highlight was scoring a hat trick in the state championship game and winning 5-0… his uncle Daryl Doran, who played in a U.S. record 827 professional indoor soccer games during his career, has been a major influence on his sports career because “he was a professional and a good role model”… most admires coach Koellor because “he helped me take my game to the next level”... also recently played for the Colorado Rapids U-23 PDL team... son of George and Carol Peters...
