Biography



2011:
OVC 'Co-Setter of the Week' (11/7/11) ... finished her EIU career with 2,397 assists, which ranks as the fourth best mark by a Panther during the OVC era (1996-present), and seventh highest all-time during the Eastern NCAA DI seasons... her all-time 9.78 assists-per-set tally also finishes with a fifth place rank... recorded 27 assist-dig double-doubles during her playing career, including six such performances while a freshman at Winthrop... during the 2011 campaign, she tied both her service ace and total block marks twice... earned a spot on the Preseason All-Ohio Valley Conference squad as she was the lone league setter to make the cut... OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll.

2010:
Harvard Invitational All-Tournament Team... saw action in 30 of 31 matches where she recorded 1,119 assists and helped lead the Panther offense to a .203 attack... her 11.08 assists-per-set average was the top mark by a setter in the OVC... set new career best assist tally dishing 64 against TTU... three times she tallied 40-plus assists and ten or more digs... twice recorded five blocks in a match... added her name to the EIU career record book for assists, with a 10th place rank of 1,456 in just two seasons as a Panther... currently sports an impressive fifth place tally in career assists per set... OVC Top 10... 1st for assists (11.08) for the entire season... 2nd in assists in OVC play... OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

2009:
Played in 17 total matches, including the last 11 contests of her sophomore year... shared setting duties with Kylie Cavanah, either in the 6-1 or 5-2 offensive schemes... recorded a single-match best 53 assists as the Panthers won a five-set nailbiter at TSU... notched 40 or more assists in five contests... set a new career best 18 digs in a five-set home loss to Murray State ... recorded 15 or more digs five times... ultimately finished with five career 40+ assist/10+ dig double-doubles... OVC Top 10... 10th for assists (7.22 aps) in OVC action... joined teammate Kylie Cavanah in that particular stat ranking, as EIU was the lone squad to garner two setters in the Top 10... OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

WINTHROP:
Transferred to Eastern after playing one season at Winthrop where she competed in 20 matches and 63 sets... the Eagles went 11-20 overall and 7-9 in conference... she was a back-up setter and outside hitter... earned 378 total assists, including a season-high 38 versus Charleston Southern... had season best kill total of nine at home against High Point... finished with six double-digit dig performances, including four in a row... had 27 total blocks... earned a spot on the Dean’s List and membership in the Alpha Lamda Delta honor society.

SACRED HEART-GRIFFIN HS:
Played for coaches Helen Dulle and Angie Riggle at Sacred Heart-Griffin High School in Springfield, Ill... earned four varsity letters in volleyball... she earned All-Conference honors twice by the State Journal-Register... named team captain both her junior and senior seasons... was named to three all-tournament squads, including the limestone Tourney, Blazer Classic and Lyle Benet... played for the National Champion club team of Illini Elite both her junior and senior seasons... named to high honor roll all four years... two-year National Honor Society treasurer, while also on the German national honor Roll two years... former Illinois State Scholar, NSHSS Scholar... and named to State Journal-Register’s Academic All-Conference team three times.

PERSONAL:
No. 1 sports highlight was “winning the 2007 AAU National Club Volleyball Championship my junior year”... her parents have been her biggest influence in her sports career, “because they have always supported me and pushed me to do my best.”
