2009: Kelsi had a nice freshman season in her first year as a Panther...playing in all ten games, she tallied six trys for 30 total points, also was good defensively with 39 solo tackles and 20 assisted stops... the speedster sprinted to 12 runs-over-20-yards... 

HS: Played volleyball, basketball, track and a member of the cheerleading and pompon squads, earning 13 total letters... captain of cheer team and power tumbling squad... set school triple jump mark as a junior and again as a senior... set all weightlifting records her junior and senior seasons... member of the Honor Roll... had four-year perfect attendance... member of the Big Brothers/Big Sisters for three years.... 

PERSONAL: An elementary education major, Kelsi is the daughter of Jodi Wright... credits her mom for influencing her sports career, “because she has been my biggest fan since day one... plus she is a great coach”.... 

FUN FACTS: Chose to come to EIU “because coach Graziano is a very caring person and is very welcoming”... also enjoys playing basketball... her secret talents include singing and tumbling... drives a 1996 Chevy Monte Carlo... loves eating steak and potatoes... since coming to EIU she has learned “to pay attention”... ‘Moe’ is the name of her siberian huskey... her advice to a younger athlete is “work hard... never give up and always believe.”
