2013:  Ohio Valley Conference All-Tournament Team... started at third base in all 50 contests as a junior... finished sixth on the squad in hitting, as she earned 29 hits, which included five doubles... came around to score 10 times and delivered nine RBI... batted most of the season in the sixth spot, as she finished with five multi-hit games... enjoyed a six-game hitting streak at one point in the season, while also reaching base safely in six consecutive games, including three consecutive to end the season... EIU Career Top 25:  Ranked for sac flies (T-4th), double-plays (8th), assists (13th), and sac bunts (T-15th).

2012:  Started in 51 games, seeing most of her action at the hot corner of third base... also played some at second and shortstop... improved her batting mark to .246 on the year behind 34 total hits, including four doubles... drilled 13 RBI shots and touched home plate on her own 11 times... led quad with 108 total assists for a .941 fielding mark... registered six multi-hit and a piar of multiple RBI games... enjoyed a five-game hitting streak at one point in her sophomore campaign.

2011:  Ohio Valley Conference All-Tournament Team... had a fine freshman season as a Panther... started in all 52 games... playing at shortstop for 50 of those contests... hit in a variety of places in the lineup, with a high of 34 times at the No. 6 spot... ended year hitting .243, with 34 hits, which included five doubles... collected 16 RBI off 39 total bases... went 2-for-4 in stolen bases... recorded five multi-hit games and three multiple RBI contests... at one point in the year she enjoyed a six-game hitting streak... had three game-winning shots, including a key single to left field to help EIU down OVC power JSU... defensively she had 49 putouts and 77 assists to just seven errors for a .947 fielding %.

HS:  A three-sport athlete for coach Tierney Cahill at Damonte Rach HS in Reno, Nevada... where besides softball, she also was a member of the golf and basketball squads... senior member of her high school squad that placed second at state in 2010... also played for the California Bears summer softball squad.

PERSONAL:  Majoring in kinesiology and sports studies while at EIU... daughter of Frank & Karen Westover.

OFF THE FIELD WITH ASHLEIGH:  Besides softball, she also continues to enjoy playing golf, basketball, in addition to volleyball and snowboarding... currently driving a Toyota 4-Runner... her favorite food is tacos, but she doesn’t care for steak... her current pet is named ‘Reggie’... if she could bring anything from her home town to Charleston it would be “the mountains”... favorite building on campus is the rec center... while one of her goals while at EIU includes “breaking school records.”
