FRESHMAN (2011): Made nine appearances, making six starts… posted an 0-2 record with a 5.52 ERA… had a 4.76 ERA in OVC play… recorded 11 strikeouts in 29.1 innings on the year… made his first career start at Indiana State on March 30… had arguably his best outing against Illinois on April 12, scattering on four hits and allowing one run in five innings of work… tossed a season-high four strikeouts at Indiana State on March 30 and versus Tennessee Tech on April 17.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was his team’s captain as a senior… named to the Illinois High School Coaches Association all-state team in 2010… won nine games in 58 innings of work with a 1.57 ERA as a senior… struck out 65 batters and held his opponents to a .155 batting average in 2010 while guiding his team to its ninth consecutive regional title… played for Doug Sotol.
