Biography

SENIOR (2007-08): Coleman did not see action this season after suffering a knee injury over the summer.

JUNIOR (2006-07): Coleman played in the first 16 games of the season… scored a season-high 13 points in the victory over Illinois-Springfield… followed that up with an 11-point effort in the overtime loss to Illinois-Chicago… made the last field goal of regulation in the UIC game, tying the game at 70-all with 1:21 remaining… had seven points, four rebounds and three steals at Xavier… scored six points and tallied a season-high four assists in loss to Alabama A&M… scored eight points against MVC foes Illinois State and Creighton… got to the free throw line in each of the first seven games of the season.

JUNIOR COLLEGE: Coleman was a two-year letter-winner at Labette Community College in Parsons, Kan… LCC was the Eastern Conference champs of the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference in 2005-06… a year earlier the team was ranked 14th in the nation… team captain as a sophomore.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was a four-year letter-winner for coach Greg Ambrose at Farmington High School in suburban Detroit… also lettered twice in volleyball… team captain both years as an upperclassman… earned Oakland County Athletics Association all-district and all-conference honors as a junior and senior… played for the Michigan Monarchs and Michigan Shooting Stars club/AAU teams.

PERSONAL: No. 1 sports highlight was making the KJCCC Regional Tournament two years in a row and only losing 10 games in her two seasons at LCC… her family has been a major influence on her sports career because "they were always willing to do all that was necessary to get me where I am today"… most admires her former teammate Kizzy Hart because "through a lot of adversity she always comes out on top. She’ll do big things in the future"… daughter of Alvin and Robin ColemanMAJOR: Economics.
