2012:  Saw action in just two contests, earning five trackles in the season-opening loss to Quinnipiac.

2011:  Played in eight of the ten games on the slate... over the course of the season she tied her single-game marks for trys, assists, assisted tackles, points and runs over 20-yards... had season-best seven seven stops as EIU won the first-ever rugby contest between a pair of NCAA DI squads as EIU rolled over Quinnipiac at home... also assisted on four stops as Eastern clawed past arch-rival UNI in a hotly contested home game.

2010: Competed in every game of the season... registered her first try as a Panther in the season finale win at Missouri... recorded three seperate runs over 20-yards, while defensively she tallied at least one solo tackle in every contest... had a season-high eight stops in the Panthers’ home finale win over Iowa State... had a season best four assisted tackles in EIU’s tough road loss at GVSU... nabbed two steals-at-tackle in the blanking of UW-Milwaukee... transferred to Eastern after attending Lincoln College... also a member of the EIU track & field squad, competing in the throwing events.

LINCOLN: Competed as a member of the Lincoln College track & field squad in 2009-10... made both the Dean’s and President’s list academically.

HS: Alissa qualified as a junior for the IHSA Class 1A State Championships in shot put, entering the meet with the second best mark before placing fourth... also competed at state as a senior, taking home a seventh place honor... also competed in volleyball, softball, basketball and cheerleading.

PERSONAL: Majoring in psychology, while also earning a minor in criminal justice... daughter of Lance & Jami Patient... credits her older sister, who plays softball at Millikin, for having the biggest influence on her sporting career “because growing up I always looked up to her in everything she did and basically wanted to be like her.”

FUN STUFF: She chose EIU “because it is where state track is held each year, so I’ve been pretty interested in going there”... states that her hidden talent is that she is able to wiggle her ears... drives a ‘02 Ford Mustang... enjoys movies with Will Ferrell and watching “Jersey Shore” on tv... her chocolate lab is named “Maddie”... enjoys eating fried zuccini, Jimmy John’s veggie sandwich and anything her mom cooks... in her spare time, she enjoys being outside a lot and hanging out with friends.
