2013-14 ... Saw limited action as a junior, playing in just two singles matches and three doubles... went 1-1 overall, with his lone singles win coming against a No. 5 singles TSU opponent in OVC play... earned an even 3-3 record in non-conference No. 3 doubles action... OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll, with Medal of Honor accolades.

2012-13 ... Playing mostly at the No. 6 spot in singles, he finished his sophomore season at 2-5 overall... went 2-4 on the year at No. 3 doubles, as he was teamed with freshman Rui Silva... OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll, with Medal of Honor accolades.

2011-12 ... Went 2-9 overall in singles as a true freshman, seeing action mostly at the No. 5 spot... registered a 2-3 mark when playing against OVC competition... playing at either No. 2 or No. 3 duos, he finished with 9-6 doubles mark, playing alongside departing senior Jamie Firth... earned a 4-3 OVC duo record.

HIGH SCHOOL ... Played tennis, soccer, track & field, volleyball, and badminton for coaches Mrs. Kahgee and Mrs. Trelford at Saugeen District Secondary School in Port Elgin, Ontario... was a five-time BAA champion... twice earned CWOSSA championships... senior athletic letterwinner... graduated with honors.

PERSONAL ... Majoring in pre-medicine... son of Mihai & Daniela Constantinescu.

OFF THE COURT WITH DAVID ... 'Rabbit' chose EIU "because of the opportunity to play DI tennis and study pre-medicine with honors college... and to combine athletics and academics at the highest level"... feels some of EIU's advantage over other schools in the midwest and in OVC are "that EIU does what is best for the students and ensures that they focus on the priorities to lead them to success"... enjoys playing soccer, beach volleyball and swimming... one of his secret talents is that he can play the piano, having placed Top 6 at the Provincials... enjoys listening to and playing music in his free time... loves pizza, spaghetti and chicken parm, but dislikes anything made with curry... favorite tv shows include House and The Mentalist... one of his career goals while at EIU include "competing with tennis at a DI level and pursue pre-medical studies in order to attend med school."
