2012-13:  Saw limited action as a true freshman, but made the most of her time on the court as she finished with a perfect 3-0 singles record and a 1-0 OVC tally... split time between No. 4 and No. 6.

HS:  Played high school tennis as a freshman at Allendale Academy in Des Moines, Iowa for coach maria Cercone ... placed first individually at regionals and won the consolation title (5th place) at the Iowa state tennis tournament... her high school squad would tally a fourth place finish.

PERSONAL:  Planning on majoring in dietetics ... daughter of Paul & Kiki Curtis.

OFF THE COURT WITH ALEX:  Chose EIU "because I liked the size of the school, class sizes, the tennis team, the honors college, and the dietetics department"... other than tennis, she enjoys singing and developing recipes which are sugar-free, dairy-free and gluten-free... her favorite foods include peanut butter and unsweetened chocolate... her family owns a golden retriever.
