JUNIOR (2013): Was taken in the 2013 Major League Baseball First-Year Players Draft, going to the Minnesota Twins in the 36th round (No. 1,070)… made 18 appearances with 14 starts… led the conference in complete games (4), while ranking sixth in innings pitched (93.1 IP)… also had one shutout and two saves… had 63 strikeouts to 31 walks… allowed 58 runs (38 earned runs)… named OVC Pitcher of the Week twice, coming on Feb. 25 and April 29… threw a complete-game shutout against Alcorn State on Feb. 23, striking out sixing and only surrendering six hits with one walk… posted a season-high eight strikeouts at Illinois State on March 23.

(2012): Was drafted in the 22nd round (No. 691) of Major League Baseball's First-Year Players Draft by the Boston Red Sox… spent the 2012 season at South Suburban C.C., posting a 4.28 ERA in 82 innings of work… had a 3-6 record in 15 appearances… threw a team-high 95 strikeouts… helped his team post a 32-22 overall record.
