Biography


2013 ... Played in seven contests, earning a pair of trys at Kentucky... also scampered for three runs over 20-yards in that same contest... tallied two assisted tackles twice and a high of five solo stops versus the Wildcats.

HIGH SCHOOL ... Was a three-sport athlete for coaches Riley and Niles in cross country, track & field and basketball at Harlan Community Academy in Chicago, Ill... her high school track squad were three-tikme indoor champions.

PERSONAL ... Her No. 1 sports highlight was "the first time I made it to the City Championships in track and filed in the fifth grade and actually winning second place in competition"... credits former track & fielder great, Wilma Rudolph, for having the biggest influence on her athletic career... planning on majoring in sociology while at EIU.

OFF THE PITCH WITH TRACEY ... Chose EIU, "because I just love the calm and collected atmosphere... I feel like they have a lot to offer and will do a good job of forming me into a successful woman"... besides rugby, also enjoys playing basketball and track & field... sports hidden talents as a singer, dancer, actor and poet... favorite foods include chicken and shrimp alfredo, while she doesn't care to eat asparagus... she can't go anywhere without her headphones and music... favorite buildings on campus include both the outdoor and indoor tracks of O'Brien Stadium and Lantz Fieldhouse... her favorite quote comes from Maya Angelou -- "there is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you"... her goals while at EIU include "becoming more confident and pushing beyond my imagination on any level, whether it be in academics or in athletics."
