2013 ... Played in all eight contests scoring four trys and dishing out one assist versus Illinois State... she also scampered for three runs over 20-yards in that same game... earned eight solo and four assisted tackles versus Grand Valley State and Tennessee, respectively...Â
HIGH SCHOOL ... Four-year and two-year varsity winner in track & field and volleyball, respectively, for coaches Beth Ann Lancaster and Chad Miller at nearby Charleston HS... earned all-conference kudos all four years as a Trojan.
PERSONAL ... Her No. 1 sports highlight was "winning state in long jump when I was in eight grade"... plans on majoring in exercise science... daugher of Laurel Hankins.
OFF THE PITCH WITH MIRANDA ... 'Rana' enjoys dining on steak but dislikes tomatoes... worse job she ever had was "working at Little Caesars"... she can't go anywhere without her phone... would love to get the chance to meet actor Morgan Freeman... her favorite quote comes from 'unknown' -- "a champion works on becoming a champion all the time, even when no one is watching"... her personal goal while at EIU is "to become the best athlete I can possibly be."
