2013 ... Saw action in every contest in her first season in a Panther uniform... was the go-to kicker for two-point conversions and penalty kicks... delivered three two-point kicks versus Kentucky... scampered for at least one try on two occasions... dished out four assists versus Illinois State... secured seven total points in the ISU matchup... EIU Top 25:  Her two penalty kicks made on the season already ranks in the EIU career record books.

HIGH SCHOOL ... Played volleyball and soccer for coaches Ryan There and Susan Hutchinson at nearby Mattoon HS... earned a variety of team awards in soccer, including offensive MVP, soccer captain award, overall MVP, all-sectional honors and notching the most assists in a season and in a game... while also leading her volleyball squad in aces... multi-year scholar-athlete award winner... 

JUNIOR COLLEGE ... Played soccer at Illinois Central College in Peoria, Ill... was in the Top 10 of all the keepers during the season.

PERSONAL ... No. 1 sports highlight was "beating Charleston HS in the regional championship my senior year"... two relatives, David and Paul Vieth played baseball and football at SIU Edwarsville and Illinois State, respectively...  daughter of David & Gail Vieth... planning on majoring in speech pathology.

OFF THE PITCH WITH HANNAH ... 'Vieth' chose EIU "in order to try something new"... obviously also enjoys playing soccer and volleyball... her hidden talent is that she can break an apple in half iwth her bare hands... currently driving a 2002 Toyota Camry... loves dining on Mexican food, but doesn't care for spaghetti... would love to meet actor Channing Tatum... wishes she could bring the restaurant Buffalo Wild Wings from Mattoon over to Charleston... her favorite quote is "leave no doubt"... her goals while at EIU "are to take the chance I hae been given to try something new and be the best I can be at it... also to get my foot in the door with speech pathology."
